  • Where an aircraft is to be used for any purpose other than public transport or aerial work, persons in favor of whom a residence permit has been issued.

The process of registering an aircraft in Malta is simple and uncomplicated, with only few documentation being required to start process. These include:-

  • Official application form;
  • Bill of Sale;
  • Where the aircraft is leased, the lease agreement has to be attached to the other documentation;
  • Where the aircraft was registered under a different jurisdiction, a de-registration certificate is required;
